Do these homes lose their value since they are not stick built homes?
Off-frame Modular homes do not lose value any more than a site built home and in fact usually appreciate with time.

Modular homes are as sound, if not more sound than a quality stick built home. Most modular homes have beefier wall systems than traditional stick built homes, thus making them more stable & energy efficient.
